Build Your Name.
Grow the Sport.
Make Them Cheer.
“No one wants to be the local fighter who walks out to silence.”
If you’re serious about making a name for yourself... or even going pro... building a fanbase is just as important as training. The more tickets you sell, the more people cheer for you, and the more opportunities (and money) you’ll earn. Here are some marketing tips to help you grow:
#1: Don’t Just Share—Repost as Your Own
Social media platforms don’t push shared posts as much as original content. Instead of hitting “share,” save the post, write your own caption, and post it yourself. This helps your content reach more people.
#2: Show Them This Fight Matters to You
People need to see your dedication. Post training photos, running sessions, meal preps, and anything that shows how hard you’re working. If they understand how much this means to you, they’ll take it seriously and support you.
#3: Engage with Your Audience
Don’t just post and disappear. Reply to comments, answer DMs, and thank people for their support. When fans feel connected to you, they’ll invest in your journey, buy tickets, and cheer louder on fight night.
#4: Rally Your Friends & Family
Your first supporters are the people closest to you. Make sure they know when and where you’re fighting, and ask them to bring their friends. A loud, supportive crowd makes a difference and promoters notice when a fighter sells out the house.
Take control of your career. Promote yourself, pack the venue, and make sure when you walk out, they know your name.
